You said it ... its a different ball game ... and if Insurance companies comes to know about it .. first of all your name/profile will be flagged .. so that many refuse insurance to you or some may celebrate by putting very high premiums for you.

Those who do it ... they never discuss with anyone. They just do it. They may get away or they may get caught. As TK said ... as long as there is no accident .. you will be happily saving the money. Once there is an accident ..... then you will have it .... FULL.

Well, going for it or against it is totally your call. Members have given you the pros and cons of both.

Just a thought... all CD members volunteer their time here. In order to save their time and your time, would it not have helped if you would have added a line to your original post - "Looking for legal ways of saving only" or something to that effect.

Never misrepresent on insurance matters .

You will be sorry when you file a claim and it is rejected ..Your premium paid will go down the drain.

Hasni,
It is all part of the game called life.
As someone said, pro's and con's has been discussed so it is your call.
Let me tell you a true life story :
Some time in 2006, I got a simple ticket for overspeeding. 75 in a 60 zone. I should have paid the fine. I did not. I went to a ticket fighter.
She asked me $ 225 and not pay the ticket ($ 60, I guess). She forgot to file and she told me not to pay the ticket. My DL was suspended. Still i drove the car and i got my license reinstated after a week for $ 160. When I went to get my license reinstated, the DL officer asked me " I hope you are not driving your car", I said " No, Mam." but I was. my ticket fighter asked me to pay the ticket. So now I paid for my ticket and also lost $ 385 and my time.

Wait, there is more. when I went to renew my license, one of the question was " Has your DL ever been suspended" I said No. (afraid of higher premiun). So I was wrong. This all happened in 2006/07. I drove my car till March 2011.

So the moral is, if you really need to save money, you gotta lie and when you lie, you may need to suffer sometime. (not that I am advising anyone to do it).

Please note :
In the above post " Renew my license" should be replaced with "Renew my insurance premium".

TK - if you want to edit your post, just click on 'Edit' button of the post you want to edit, unless you want to increase your number of posts.

When you go for insurance renewal, the insurance companies pick up few cases randomly and check their 'Auto Plus' to know the driving history/suspensions/accidents so if you lie, there is a possibility of getting caught.
