Just a general health and wellness question.
These days I am feeling too tired to do the things that I used to do with full vigour previously.

Let me tell you my schedule:

Wake up - 6:45 am.
Cleaning vessels, boiling milk - Till 7:15 am.
Nature call - Till 7:25 am.
Wake up cousins, get them ready to go to school (incl. breakfast, snacks for them, bathing them, putting on their uniforms ,dropping at school) - Till 8:30 am.
Getting ready for office (incl. eating bf, washing cloths) - Till 9:30 am.
Office - 10 am till 7:30 pm (Office includes 2 hour site visits and 1 hour office work. Rest of the time just on the internet. I take 10 min. lunch break, 15 min. snack break).
Home at - 8:30 pm (after purchasing milk, meat , veggies)
Work at home - 8:30pm to 10:30 pm (Ironing, washing vessels, watching TV news)
10:30 pm till midnight - Watching Movie clips on TV, facebook, internet
Midnight - sleep.

I do this schedule Monday to Friday. Saturday is full day office. Saturday nights I go to do grocery shopping for the week. Sunday is taking cousins to church, park, tutions etc.. I also do washing / ironing.

Now my questions is, I mostly feel very tired. There is no energy in me to do all these chores happily. People would laugh if they know that a Cdn. citizen was so lazy like this in India. I want to work well in my office, atleast doing 6 hours work per day.

How are CD's coping with this kind of lethargy in Canada? Any tips?

Man, that looks pretty hectic to me. You might be getting stressed out. Aashu's pointers are good. Reference to your precisely scheduled defecation was hilarious.

I noticed that your commute times are extremely low in contrast to major metros in India. You live close to your place of work?

I also noticed that there is not much physical activity in your schedule. Try incorporating it into your busy life-- like, not using the elevator at work, walking whenever possible etc . This is not a short term solution but over the course of time your body will be thankful to you. If your workout is rigorous(like going to the gym) then best you do it during the evening, and you'll sleep like a baby. You'll also become more active during the day.

Also watch your diet and what kinds of foods you are eating as the day goes by. Foods like dosas, idlys, breads etc can make you groggy earlier in the day. Your body uses all its energy trying to digest those kinds of foods and as a result you feel tired.

TK you seriously need some drastic change if you have to get your life back. Here are few pointers
1. Take a deworming dose. Its very common to have worms in your body & a tropical climate adds to it. Zentel 1tab is enough & repeat it after 30days.
2. Drink a lot of water, even though you might have to visit the washroom very often, but dehydration is a major cause of weakness
3. Add some physical exercise, like jogging a mile, or brisk walking few kms.
4. Do some breathing exercise, & some stretching yoga. You will see the difference in few days. Supply your body with enough oxygen. Deep breathing inhale & exhale is enough. Water too breaks down into H2 & O. In fact oxygen is the amrit for life.
5. Do early morning walking, as air quality is fresh, only because automobile pollution starts happening only around 7-7:30 am, so your morning walk (or jogging) before that.
6. Is the midnight TV so important to sacrifice your health. Stop watching, its not worth it. Arnab Goswami is a nut on Times Now, your sleep is more precious, it recharges your body. Have a sound sleep of at least 7hrs.
7. Diet must have all ingredients. A balanced diet is a must. After deworming a good diet will help
8. If possible, have good sexual life. Sex is an important part of youth. Its helps in remaining young & a good exercise too.

Follow this & let me know the feedback after 30days

Thanks Guys.
I picked the best out of your answers and plan to do as follows :
1. Sleep atleast 8 hours a day,
2. Take B 12 tablets.
3. Take a deworming course.
4. At the current time, I will be unable to do excercises as I donot have time but what I will do is to walk more during site inspections.
5. Before I used to skip breakfast. I used to have pangs of hunger but not lethargy. Now I am eating idly's every day from the nearby store. I will try to find an alternate like banana's etc...
6. Sex? I am single guys.
7. Watching film clippings, I will avoid.
8. Hope that if the summer vacations come and my cousins go to USA for vacation, then may be I will get more time to excersice.

Thanks once again for all the great tips.

Just alone B12 is not enough. You must have a full combination if multivitamin & minerals. ZEVIT capsules are good, you can have 1daily. They are very cheap in India. But it will work only after deworming.

Good breakfast is must. Your stomach gets empty from previous night dinner. Empty stomach can lead to another complications like peptic ulcer, indigestion, gas, headache, migrane, etc.

Exercise, you must make time for it, before you fall sick & all you have is time. Do little exercise daily & increase it as you get more comfortable.

What does it have to do with being single? It's much better if 'single'. Ever heard about NSA (No strings attached)?

Are you MENTALLY tired or PHYSICALLY tired.

Both are 2 different things & the cures are different for both.

Worry, Anxiety & Stress will lead to the former. Over Thinking & over analyzing things & solving imaginary problems, which will never occur in your life, will also make you mentally tired.

Physically tired is often lack of proper diet, exercise , illness, biological problems etc.

Yoga, Meditation,Exercise etc is good for Healthy mind & Healthy Body

Mens sana in corpore sano

"a healthy mind in a healthy body".
