Heard this in the yoga class:
Whatever we ingest, food, water, etc. gives us only 10% of the energy to our body. Breathing gives 20%. Rest 70% is controlled by 7.2 million magnetic circles in our body.
I am not sure how to believe this. Comments are welcome.

The concept of योग came into existence, years before scientific research/discoveries were made.
Using my preliminary engineering/biology knowledge, as per first law of thermodynamics, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. As per second law, when energy is transformed, there is always a loss, normally in form of heat.
I think body gets energy when some carbon-oxygen bonds are broken. And food (carbohydrates/proteins/oils) provide those carbon-oxygen bonds. Our breathing provides oxygen which helps in metabolism (Kreb's cycle). So breathing itself cannot be a source of energy.
Whatever we eat, some of the stuff gets converted into energy, some of it gets stored (in form of fat??) rest of the stuff is thrown out from body.
What are magnetic circles? And even they control the flow of energy, it still needs some input to provide output. It cannot generate energy on its own.
IMHO, I feel that these concept of energy and magnetism is very poorly defined in Hinduism. It is a concept used to scare people away, something that cannot be understood and must be taken as granted. In light of 21st century, all these concept should be re-written so that a layman can understand those concepts.
