SOMETHING NEW...75% Efficiency of the Machine using Fossil Fuels. It is a ROTARY ENGINE.
LiquidPiston.: Unveils 40-bhp X2 rotary engine with 75 percent thermal efficiency
The internal combustion engine (ICE) has had a remarkably successful century and a half. Unfortunately, it’s notoriously inefficient, wasting anywhere from 30 to 99 percent of the energy it produces and spewing unburned fuel into the air. Last week, Gizmag interviewed Dr. Alexander Shkolnik, President and CEO of LiquidPiston, Inc. about the company's LiquidPiston X2 – a 40-bhp rotary engine that burns a variety of fuels and requires no valves, cooling systems, radiators or mufflers, yet promises a thermodynamic efficiency of 75 percent. (Update: The engine has a goal of achieving a 57 percent brake efficiency.)

Audi is making fuel from air and water
Audi has begun production of a synthetic diesel fuel made from water, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen. Unlike fossil fuels, which release additional carbon into the atmosphere, Audi’s “e-diesel,” which is being produced at a plant in Dresden in conjunction with the German alternative energy company Sunfire, has a net-zero carbon footprint because it is made with carbon dioxide taken from the air.
It’s not the first carbon-neutral fuel, but it’s being hailed by the German government, which provided support for the plant, as an important milestone in the movement for cleaner energy.
“If we can make widespread use of CO2 as a raw material, we will make a crucial contribution to climate protection and the efficient use of resources, and put the fundamentals of the ‘green economy’ in place,” Johanna Wanka, Germany’s minister of education and research, said in an Audi news release announcing the production of the initial batch of e-diesel. (The first five liters went into Wanka’s official car, an Audi A8 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro.)
Here’s a diagram released by Audi showing the steps of the fuel production process:

Look at all of these cars that are coming out one after the other in the next few days and weeks. They are the cars of the future.
Is India ready to roll them and at half the price, if so, there is a great future for all of the automotive engineers and people who will start selling the HYDROGEN Fuel cells.!!

I have not seen it yet. But the Oil Companies will ultimately will buy all of the Auto Manufacturers.
Thanks to technology and its fast pace, we will see all of them within the next few years.

CAN WE SAVE THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION (DIESEL) ENGINE??
American car racing legend Dan Gurney's patented Moment-Cancelling Four-Stroke (MC4S) engine features two counter-rotating crankshafts and an innovative intake system. With it, Gurney is looking to conquer the Holy Grail of internal combustion engines: reliability, efficiency and low emissions, all in a single design targeted at motorcycles, but which could also be used in cars, planes and boats.

Daniel Gurney has done it again. The former racing car driver who has won at Sports car, Formula one, NASCAR and Indy car is also a car manufacturer and team owner. He was the one who started the tradition of spraying champagne while celebrating at the podium and also who placed a simple right angle extension on upper trailing edge of rear wing which increases the down force.
Gurney is now, back along with his team who has patented an engine design called “Moment cancelling 4 stroke”- exclusively designed for motorcycle applications. They aimed to create it which could be simple and compact, also being sturdy and systematic...

Here is a latest development in the Auto Industry and it is worth noting. It was done through a good research project by DAIMLER and they are now getting into production and when it will appear on the market, it will be a great product. They will run side by side with the Electric vehicles.
Daimler -Benz... Cost 3 Billion Bucks.... On the market in April of 2016
Test runs are already being conducted and it will appear in the next Auto Show.

Mercedes believes that internal combustion engines have a future alongside hybrid and electric powertrains in the move towards more sustainable mobility, and that cleaner, more economical diesel engines are a key part of this vision. To this end, the new OM 654 engine that will premiere as the E 220 d in the new E-Class delivers NEDC combined consumption of just 3.9 l/100km (60 mpg) and CO2 emissions of 102 g/km,, which is a cut of around 13 percent compared to its predecessor, the OM 651. This is managed while boosting power output to 143 kW (192 hp) from 125 kW (168 hp).
Worth noting.
