I don't think there is any quality control in such a home based, or cottage industries, there in Ceylon or India. So, look for packs with whole chilies. Not damaged or broken chilies in the pack. Also look out for the type of chilies, size, shape and dryness etc., if the pack is a see through one.

For my next batch, I will look out for the ones from Andhra or from Gulbarga area. If I succeed I will post it under this.
