Why do you need adult jokes on CD to read in an office setting? If Whatsapp is not an option, there is always Google groups. Very easy to set up, accessible via web.
If you find any ads on CD offensive, you should PM or email Garvo Gujarati.

Why can't it be used to control / delete offensive posts ??...Set a reasonable number say 4 or 5 and auto delete such posts ..

I support this view point,
BL massaged his ego through a cunningly framed poll and attempted to prove his point which he raised against one of the JOKE! In that thread his view was thrashed by some active users.
A smart cookie he is, reverted with excellent strategy. :-)
Can Admins deny this fact ?
Issue here is admins are taking that poll as a benchmark. :-(
The only remedy is either Ban all jokes on this site (say no to humor) or ban none and let users decide not to read as first few lines define mood of the joke. Otherwise we will have more threads discussing the LINE of Control.

Very true .. why only moderate adult jokes as offending ( even when generally they may be quite acceptable )

Sorry for calling in this poll but this is an attempt to provide balance to an earlier poll and also to gauge the preference and acceptance level of CDs to Vagg's jokes on an average which can help us determine the wishes of the CD fraternity and lead us to forming a rule like never before.
Please vote as per your individual wish.
Simple choice -
I find them Generally Acceptable
or
I find them Generally Non Acceptable .
In stead of basing the CD opinion on one 'very crude' joke , we can realize a better & fair opinion here .

I am of the opinion that if the mods have set a laxman rekha for whatever reason they feel appropriate, we as posters and contributors should respect that. How will this pressure on the mods help CD in anyway just for the sake of reading and enjoying adult jokes? They said earlier that material in moderation is no problem and they will edit/delete when they find it objectionable. There will be varying levels of tolerance amongst different members and unfortunately we have to adhere to levels set by the mods. Even hosting another poll does not matter since at the end of the day it will up to the mods to draw the line...
So lets take a chill pill and indulge in other charcha topics instead of going around in circles for 1 issue.
Enjoy the (probably) last warm weekend of summer.
