On the contrary I think Modi is getting all the brickbats because of the fringe (including bhakts) elements who keep promoting him as messiah of Hindus where as he wants to project a more secular image of himself. So lets think who is hurting whom.

I do not know what is the basis of your rant - perhaps it is your blind devotion to Modi which you have already accepted and are unwilling to even hear any criticism about him ... even positive ..

Who gives you the right to comment that Biharis deserve Jungle Raj ??? Do you think you or NaMo are over the millions of Biharis ??

Every PM would be criticized be it MMS , Modi , Harper or now Trudeau simply because they are in power.

The Constitution of India allows only minor amendments , nothing major which will change the fabric of the country . That cannot happen technically. People affiliated to him who beat their chests chanting 'Hindutva' are perhaps making NaMo lose. The call of the hour is to consolidate , achieve power and majority and then execute the agenda ...

More than anything else .. NaMo and his combine should re think why they lost Delhi & Bihar and re strategy so that the repeat does not happen in UP ...

1. Criticizing MODI/BJP for their short coming is NOT EQUAL to criticizing INDIA.
2. Please use search function and you will find tons of post criticizing other political leaders including Manmohan, Sonia, Pappu, Lalu, Kejriwal...everyone has been commented upon and applauded when required.
3. Building reputation DOES NOT equal bringing investment. US/CHINA do not have a clean image in the world - they still attract tons of investment. It is only in India that we are so attached to 'clean image' (despite the glow in the dark corruption) where the entire world is just interested in investing for profits. They don't see benefits, no one is going to lend you a dime as investment just because your image.

Take a chill pill and enjoy the new year celebrations instead of getting so worked up about Modi/BJP criticism.

A few years back Nitish and Lalu were sworn enemies. Their only plank is being anti-Modi.

The scene in Bihar is similar to Karnataka ten years back. The infighting among the various factions of Congress, thanks to Nehru family's puppeteering, brought BJP to the fore with Yeddyurappaa their CM.

There will be fights for minister portfolios and revenue sharing between Nitish and Lalu groups. BJP in Bihar will get catapulted to power. Like Karnataka BJP dropping sitter of a catch and now sits in the opposition will be Part II story of their Bihar Unit.
