What is the reliable IPTV? I am a highly tech savvy, but yet to find any till date. Most of them either have such a low quality that it's a completely put off, and others work for a month or two, and then vanish with the stream.
I am so fed up these boxes now, and relying completely upon the Cable. There are 3 of them lying unproductive at some corner of my home.
They are free/low cost for a reason.
Word of advise: Stick to Cable if you want a good quality, unobstructed view 24x7. The money that you would pay will be a peace of mind for a flawless transmission as long as you want.
You won't get free/low cost Indian channels streams for a long long time to come.
FP on the contrary there are plenty of different IPTV boxes available atleast here in Toronto which are quite reliable ( outage only once in past six months ) and provide a variety of channels in HD including Hindi . Box cost is anywhere from 120- 150 $ and you pay 15$ / month for the service ( aka piece of mind)
These boxes work OK on wi fi depending on your internet speeds avlbl .
I have CAT6 cable pulled everywhere in house that ensures the transmission without interruption or buffering .
In nut shell I am a very happy and content customer.
P.S: I also have two other box from 'Red Rhino" which costed me 350 each ( http://myredrhinotv.com/) . There is no subscription fee. Its works very well for the previously recorded stuff but not the best if you want to watch live streaming of Indian channels .

Heard on the news today that as of today all TV providers have to compulsorily offer a skimmed down version of TV for 25/- per month ...
The problem with Bell / Rogers is that when you will get down on the table with them to discuss and finalize (by citing competition) , they will most likely give you a good deal to retain customer .... but as time passes by they will start sneaking increased costs and charges.
Try to lock down the price for a year if not 2. ... I see you have a contract already .... you should be good...
Thanks to the competition and options available , the big companies are compelled to negotiate ...
