HI,
Is there any other cable TV provider option to Rogers in Toronto? Talking about cable provider only, not dish provider like Bell.
Also, how about good high speed internet option in cable as well like Rogers?
Heard Primus is offering but not sure of their quality and service

For High speed, try 3web.com. They have cable as well as DSL. Infact for the cable they go thru Rogers, but their rates are cheaper than Rogers. I've been with them for around 3 years and no probs.

How is the service with 3web?
It took me 3 hrs the other day just to talk to a sales person to enquire about a few things.
When asked, he said that they were doubling up as both sales/technical people and were trying to improve their response time.
For a company which is close to 5 yrs old, that was not expected.
Hence would like to know from people currently with 3web about their service.
Would appreciate the response
I thought about 3web because of their low cost but Bell has a 12 month offer (no contract reqd) at $35 monthly. No modem rental required either - with 3web you have to buy their modem.
The speed is great. And when I had some problems connecting I was able to speak to a tech in less than 5 mins who resolved.
I'd rather pay $5-7 more per month and know I have support when I need it.
Just wanted to add: I read that 3web is good when connecting via cable but via DSL can be problematic - perhaps someone can verify this.

I've had a 3Web DSL for the last 2 years, no major issues. They lease lines from Bell. There were those odd occassions where the line was down (about 2 in as many years), but then they give you a dial-up as a back-up.
Getting to tech support too, never had issues, may be alike a 5-8 min wait sometimes.
