I am posting this after a prolong fight with Telus where they seem to continue looting their existing customers. I have been their customer since 3 years and have been a hard negotiator with them when they play with my bill and I am seeing that my deals are no longer negotiable and eventually they are crossing my bill to greater than $100/month. Their CSR says that from September their basic prices are going to shootup which generally people in Vancouver are not really aware (I hear as concerned).

The same thing happened with me 3 years prior to Telus when Shaw was the King of BC market which eventually was broken by Telus and Bell. I remember when I jumped to Telus, Shaw CSR Manager was shocked to hear that how come Telus can given me internet for $10/month. Now Telus seem to take its regular step by increasing their prices of existing customers every month. People in BC generally don't have choice when it comes to Gas, Insurance and basic utilities.

I was wondering to escape these guys (No I dont want to go for jadoo box from khacha market) but still I am just tired with these guys to see what option do I have when it comes to Telephone + Internet + Cable (inc Desi channels)

You don't have many options.

The best will be to go back to Shaw. They had promotion like $9.99/month for each service for 6 - 12 months and then $29.99/month. No contract. Desi channels probably for $5-15 per month for 6-12 months.

You have to contact Shaw agent to get this promotion (don't understand why Shaw directly won't give same promotion). You can contact agent desk at Metrotown Mall or PM me, I will give some other agent contact info.

I am with Telus for past 7-8 years and will likely move to Shaw in next couple of months (Shaw internet speed is better than Telus).

Do not forget to give Telus one month notice and inform them that you will be porting your number.
