If I incorporate myself in Canada, can I get paid in US dollars from US clients ?

Are you a 'PR' or a Canadian Citizen? Do you hang your hat here within Canada? If so, YES.
You can even get paid in Takas, Dongs or Zloty's too. No problems.

FH ~ If the answer is Yes than should the Ontario Inc charge 13% HST to the US Client and again should that be on CAD equivalent ?

Foreign customers (outside of Canada)
"If you sell goods and services to international customers, you are not required to collect GST/HST or PST, provided they take delivery of the goods or services outside of Canada. If international customers, such as tourists, make purchases within your province or territory, they are required to pay the GST/HST and PST. In some cases, they may be eligible to receive a GST/HST refund."

* then sounds better. Just to sum it up, when you buy an airline ticket for an overseas travel they do not charge any HST. (Do they?)
