I am the real TK. Currently in chennai and unemployed for 3 months and using my savings in chennai.
Due to low posts, i am not much into CD.
Icame seemsvto be mr adam thoratbin a new avatar. I like his postings since they are true and reveal the bad sidecof canada for non IT professionals.

Immigrant Professionals like doctors, engineers, CA's, MBA's like to work with their brain and not backs, just like they were working in their respective home countries, before being scammed to come to the Winter Wasteland and Frozen Tundra.
Haath and Per are for Majdoor class, not Professionals. Unfortunately Canada is making and using these qualified immigrants to work with their Haath and Per in factories and warehouses and fast food joints and malls.
That's the whole point of this post, don't let them exploit and abuse you by working as Majdoor. Collect welfare and give it back to them.
When immigrants fight back and don't let Canada use them for low level menial jobs, that's when Foreign degrees and experience will be recognised.
What Shaan is there in working as a Coolie for your GORA master, when you yourself are more educated and qualified than the uncouth, obnoxious, racist and illiterate GORA Saahib ?
Are GORA professionals working as Coolies with their Haath & Per and with Shaan ? Or are they doing $ 100,000+ jobs in their respective profession and fields ?
So Shaan and Haath -Per is only for Desi immigrants, right ?
Trust me i am not a big fan of Canada but againts being lazy and take welfare .... that is losers mentality ...
You wanna grab something free then take advantage of education/ business skims ... There are many ways to enjoy free benefits with dignity ...
If we do the same, then what will be different between White Trash and us immigrants ?

This kind of mindset and blaming other people/country for your own decision is not good. I am sure you would like to take printout and tell your kids - see how smart I am and I want you too like me as next generation. These are my values that I would like to pass next generation that is reason I immigrated to Canada/USA.
Canada is democratic free country and the immigration is a privilege ( not a human right) so do not blame govt or local people for doctors, engineers, CA's, MBA's are doing minimal job.

1.Really ? The govt has a Points system for bringing skilled and educated immigrants into this country. So they give them false hope that we are valuing your skills and education, based on which we are giving you points and letting you immigrate.
But after coming here the same govt. refuses to recognize the degrees and education and qualification of these doctors, engineers, CA's, MBA's and makes them do low level low paying labour jobs.
Why not give Points to cab drivers, labourers from India and make them come to Canada ? Why doctors, engineers from India ? If labourer's is all that Canada wants ?
2.Are local white doctors, engineers, CA's doing pizza delivery and driving cabs ? So why are they making desi doctors, engineers to do that ?
3. Immigration might be a privilege. But after coming here not being racially discriminated against is a human right. Racial discrimination is exactly what's happening to desi immigrant doctors, engineers, CA's, MBA's.

I can agree with some Racial discrimination but that also exists in India and everywhere. Our people are also some %age responsible of these racial discrimination. I understand frustration also related to at what stage in life people migrate with family responsibility. I moved for masters here just after IIT Delhi and single so my experience is very different.
I think we should also focus on some kind of community college, formal education, part time masters/MBA or migration/job offer from US or other cities at least to get some job experience. If you can not afford to leave job then ask your spouse to do more than a job. My only problem with Canada is it's have all kind of jobs in very few cities but low salaries, higher taxes which can not support GTA and Vancouver living cost. My wife and I had good job and life when we lived 6 years in Canada and worked in IT there.
