Guru Tegh Bahadur,
Guru Gobind Singh & (does this mean 3 guru's) ?

+ There was also a "Sikhni" (I am forgetting her name) among the list of Sikh figures covered in the comic series

I think the Mughal emperors are quite well covered till Shah Jahan. You even have Sher Shah Suri (between Humayun & Akbar).. Of cos I am guessing Aurangzeb and others may appear some day in Pakistan 
As far as illustrations go abt, compare two specific cases.
Say for example "Karna" and "Birbal the Clever",, You will see a world of difference. I never understood why one had better illustrations and why the other one sucked big time !

YEAH MAYBE U R RIGHT O_N . I FAILED 2 OBSERVE THIS BUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS ALWAYS GAVE AN INDIAN VENT 2 A CHILD S IMAGINATION .......... IF ANY1 SPEAKS TENALIRAMA THE COMIC FACE FLASHES 2 THE MIND !!
SOME TIMES I FEEL WE WERE LUCKY 2 HAVE READ ALL THESE BOOKS . CANT RECALL THE SERIES BUT I CHANCED 2 READ COMIC VERSIONS OF SHAKESPEARES PLAYS ALSO WHICH ALSO WENT DOWN WELL .PITY CUD JUST HAVE 5 --- IF I CAN 2 DAY I WILL BUY ALL !!

Lol.. Tenali Rama... of Amar Chitra Katha (is still vivid) and the DoorDarshan version of Tenali Rama (played by Vijay Kashyap of Mr. Bhattacharya fame from yeh Jo Hai Zindagi !...damm forgetable face)..
I esp like the part when T_R prays and prays and Kali appears in front of him with 2 cups of curd...daayan khao toh chatur banoge, baaya khao toh dhanwaan banoge..
Kali Ma, main in dono ko taste karke batata hoon, mujhe kaunsa accha lagta hai...(and he gulps down both of them !)....
Remember that part Manasvi ? (The first few pages of Tenali Ramakrisha !)
