I have applied my visa under Business class immigrant category and will arrive at Toronto sometime during Dec. 2004. As of now I will be moving alone. Meanwhile, I wrote to some of the contacts wherein you hardly get some positive signals about jobs and Business.
Basically I am Businessman, aged 40 years, married having 4 kids aged 17, 15, 9, 7 years
By, profession I am in business from last 20 years with the experience in marketing, sale and purchase, retail and hole-sale business handling, Interaction with customers (maintaining relation with customers and suppliers) daily routine account handling. Inventory and account control with operating of computer in different accounting packages and in Excel, general correspondence in word.
I am mentally prepared to take up any JOBS in my initial days, but I am more interested to do the job in the business which I want to enter.
Is it a advisable step to move there ??
I need your valuable suggestions please advice…

How long are yo willing to wait before you find your "Dream Job" ? Have you thought about your kids...at least one of them will be ready to go to college. The fees, though cheap, can be quite expensive in your case as you have a family of 6 to feed. Do you have any contacts in Canada ?
I have seen your contributions in a previous post. As you have made up ur mind on coming here, do you want us to encourage you and not discourage you ?

As you have mentioned that about my kids, I can only say that this is one of the most reason also to immigrate to Canada for their better studies. As compare to me there is better chance for them.
About the fees and etc. I think by the time they gorw, they may be capable to earn little bit contribution for their fees etc, more over Govt. agenies are also their to provide financing for student's higher education.
Yes I have contacts over there, I have some relative in Canada who will guide us .

Govt agencies are here to fund college educations. However, they will give you a loan subject to certain conditions. They will determine if you can repay the loan or yo uhave any means of repaying the loans. This will in turn depend on your job status. Its a big deal if someone defaults on a loan. So do not expect to depend entirely on loans to fund your kids educations.

Come alone first then after getting job and decide about the busines call your family.
Business is not much attractive like USA.
Big decision dont depents on too many views of people instead come alone and decide yourself.
Nothing impossible but not a easy game.
