Rao,
I have written 100 times and will be pleased to repeat for 101st time.
Many highly qualified people have migrated and failed......many incompetent people have migrated and succeeded.
There is no hard and fast rule for success. You have to try it to believe it....its better try and fail rather than not trying it at all because if you succeed then your life will totally change especially your kids will have a brighter future with Canadian education....
Failure rate is more for Professionally qualified people....since Canada needs SKILLED WORKERS...not skilled professionals...
You can hardly see an Immigrant unemployed in the following categories...WELDER, FITTER, MECHANIC, TOOL & DIE MAKER, PLUMBER, CARPENTER, MASON, TRAILER DRIVER etc. If you belong to any of the categories above you will get job in 48 hours as there are hundred of placement agencies like PAV BHAJI stalls in India waiting to recruit you and sell for less to the actual employer. They will even give you advance payment etc.
But if you are looking for an Engineers job of $ 70k then you are living in fantasy.
Miracles do happen......every year there are thousands of people getting lotteries worth millions of $$$ You could compare your chances to be same.
Best of luck my pal...
Deep

U win some...lose some...everything is not justified in this world.
If you really want to be adventurous, Go climb Mount Everest....something I plan to do when I go back to India....
Coming to Canada is no adventure....sorry to say.
Rest as they say here is up to you.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

"I always ask that of all my prey."
"I just like the sound of it."
Does your friend's letter not make you think " What is he doing here ?"
If you have a will you find a way.

Dear sanjeevm,
I do not know whether you could get the context clear. well, let me take the trouble of explaining you. Being adventurous, in this context is I still hv some risk taking ability and I could think of a CHANGE.
In case your vocabulary says being advetourous means only climbing mountains, cycling etc. pls be informed that, I have done most of the things what you mentioned in your mail like visiting most parts of India, staying in Jungles, cycling expeditions etc.
Well, thats not the point of discussions here.
I AM REALLY SEEKING SOME VALUBLE TIPS FROM MY SENIOR CANADIAN DESIS AT THIS CRUCIAL JUNCTURE.
Last but not the least, before giving upanyasa for somebody to be focused , May I ask you pls be focused on the relavent subject.
Anyway thanks for your reply and valuable suggestions.
Well said Rao! We understand exactly what you mean and taken in the right spirit. Good Luck. Self belief is the best- inshort. Coz all have different experiences and attitude is all that matters.
Bhishma.
