Rather, if I was having loads of cash, & was looking fr a good 5mp camera I wud not settle for anything less than a Digital SLR - something like the Rebel series probably, with 20 x kinda optical zoom etc.

- so here's a 5mp Casio, inexpensive camera. I have no idea about Casio cameras performance.Chek DP.

5MP w/ 3X optical zoom, 2" large LCD display, good battery life!!

i am also planning to buy good digital camera but don't have great idea like you all. And i found one when i was searching it. Check it out!!

I need to dispose of my Minolta 7000. Its gives me excellent pics but I have to get it printed and then have it scanned and then only I can put it on the web.

any one want to buy?

I will include the Minolta flash 2800.

Very good find !
I have Minolta Dimage X - its a very good camera excepting that, mine is an older model than X31 & is only 2.1 mp. The picture quality is wonderful - I did get a chance to compare my images with a canon powershot, mine was better !
Go for it - but pick it from their Woodbine location & make sure tht the model is new & not a "refurbished" one. The price you are getting on TD is good too - as I had checked the Dimage X model in Telecity downtown & they were selling it for $250.

You can also get a256 mb SD card from TD while you are there. Its the best price I have ever seen for a 256mb SD card - only $19 after mail-in-rebate(MIR),as the MIR is in USD!

The Dimage series alongwith the great pictures & small size, also takes small moving shots(video) with sound.

if you want waterproof go with olympus they have a 5 mega pixel for that purpose. otherwise stay with canon, panasonic or nikon for digital. thay havet he best cameras in this range. also look at digital photography on the internet. i think it is http://www.dpreview.com" rel="nofollow">LINK thay have lots of information
