Thought i would resurrect this thread.

I bought a Canon A400 (3.2 MP, 2.2 Optical, 3 digital) over the weekend for 179 from staples. Since I wanted basic features at the lowest price I got this, it seems to be fine for now.
It eats batteries for lunch.

Hi Guys,
After going through comments in this thread and checking other website I decided to go for Canon digital camera.
Because I am looking for 5 MegaPixel one in my price range it seems
Canon PowerShot A95 could meet my requirements.I also checked Canon SD400 /SD500 but price is little bit more because of it's ultra slim look.
My first query could anyone share their experience with Canon PowerShot A95 model?
It looks good from general customer reviews:
http://www.pricegrabber.ca/rating_getprodrev.php/masterid=3761050
My next question is about buying online against from a shop(say futureshop) in Canada.I am asking because futureshop is asking $449 ,staple $419 ..so thinikng if I could get a better price via any Canadian online shops?
I checked the US online shops but though their price is very attractive but they are including too much shipping cost when shipped to Canada. http://www.pricegrabber.ca/search_getprod.php/masterid=3761050 and the issue is paying additional custom duties.
Could any one tell me about any good Canadian online shops(Other than togerdirect) where price could be better?
Thanks

Go to Futureshop & give them proof that Staples is offering at $419. Their policy will allow them to beat the price by 10% of the difference in price. This way you will benefit. Also check up Best Buy, Visions & London drugs.

Rgds.
