Hey, I agree to here that the situation is completely changed now in the Mideast and specially in Dubai where the cookie is crumbling down. The Real estate and financial sectors are the worst hit and realty firms are falling like a pack of cards... and this will have an impact on all the other sectors like media et al.

Construction sector has diminished by about 40% with workers bundled back in huge numbers...

Other countries like Qatar, Saudi and GCC countries too are following the same path... this year is gonna be very crucial....

And thats when applying for Canadian immigration seems to be a lamp in the dark light as I have applied around 2 years back and in the process of getting it done soon.... hopefully would be able to move on to the other side during this year.... where one has some sort of security unlike here....
