Hello Experts,
Currently I am on the study permit and going to applying for TRV (Temporary Residence Visa) to buffalo. Reason to apply for TRV is might be I'll be going to India for marriage. Now I am just curious about the reason that I have to mention while I apply for TRV. Should I mention that I am going to India for marriage? If I do, then does it affect negatively on my case for TRV approval?
Or should I just let them know that I want to visit my parents? If I do that than I don't know what will happen in future as I am going to put my Immigration file once I get my TRV and than later I'll fly to India, will get married and will add my spouse name in my immigration application once I re-enter Canada. Overall in this case does Immigration dept can say in future that I lied them?
What are the ups and downs in both cases?
I'll appreciate for your time and consideration.

Tell the truth. Your parents want you to come visit and at the same time they may try to get you married. Voila!
