Fido
You are more than 100% correct. We should clearly understand and always kept in mind love the systm or leave the systme(country). That was advice to my friend by his Dad when he first came in USA in 1989 and He still has following this advice and always tell his juniors and new commers.

Well Fido and daisyfromottawa,

I completely agree with you guys - said about the system. I don't see anybody disagreed.

Did anyone?

And I guess this is not something that we or someone have to advice, it is something which they have to understand and pick themselves.

Indianguy,

In my humble opinion, you did not do anything that most people do not try to. You wanted to bring your wife to Canada and make Canada your home (as is evident from one of your post where you agree that you want to apply for PR). the immigration officers come across such 'tricks" as you might call them day in and day out and they recognised it from your wife's application. And so the officer told your wife exactly what you were planning to do - anything wrong in him catching you (or your wife) on your (or her alone) intentions???

In the eyes of immigration, (and in the eyes of those immigrants who have not resorted to such tricks) this is a wrong way to meet your wife or call her to live in Canada - and that is exactly what Fido and BL have tried to point out. Your basic intention has been and still remains different from what you portray or exhibit or say.

I hope this post of mine will prompt you to introspect and then write what exactly you want to do, and then seek opinion from others. It is not nice to seek advise by presenting untrue or half true intentions/situations.

Chandresh, when I wrote that I applied for immigration means would like to stay here in Canada, BUT only after I get thru it successfully. Not before that seeking refugee or getting illegel. And when my wife applied for student dependent visa, it means until my current stay to join me here in Canada on a depenedent visa, nothing more than than. Not me nor my wife present untrue or half intentions/situations, not here nor in the application forms.

And I said in my earlier post to Fido that if you look bit more in Toronto you will find people on study permit and their wife are here on dependent visa, after that getting open-work permit, needless to say they have also applied for immigration too.

Meaning all those above people are doing wrong and if they are, then why visa officer provide their husband or wife with the visa?

Anyways, thank you to everybody for helping me out in this dilemma. If need anything more will write back. Till that happy holidays...

All said for this thread from my side.
