Anyway, can you pl elaborate on why you want to work in Canada when there are supposed to be many more opportunities down South where you are?
Employment surely isn't the _only_ reason why I want to move to Canada (specifically Montreal) this June. I, and many others, feel that the US, politically & economically, is greatly changing and politically, it's becoming more conservative. I'm, for example, _for_ gay marriage and open immigration in a country. Open immigration doesn't stop with just letting people in, but having it be OK to retain their personal values after they arrive.
This probably is the one major difference between the Canadian, UK, and Australian 'multiculturalism' and the US' 'melting pot'. In a melting pot, everyone who comes has to completely change to the new place's conventions in order to be fully accepted in society.
Other reasons for moving include relaxed piracy laws, for example, as when you buy CD-Rs, the bit of extra money that you pay in Canada goes to royalties for record & film companies. So, with that in mind, it's not as likely that the law will care about piracy nearly as much as in the US.
