Hello all,

I am visiting US for the first time and need information about I94. while my other family members are canadian citizens I am the one with visitor visa, its first time travel for all of us.
1. where do I get the form?
2. what information do I need to provide?
3. Any other formalities to be done at the border?
4. we are crossing the border at windsor to detroit. I believe there is a charge while crossing the bridge. how much is it?
5. Any outlets nearby which are recomended? what is the limit of items we can buy there(clothes,shoes and household items no alcohol)?

1. At the booth when you meet the immigration/customs officer, he/she will send all of you to the secondary inspection. Inside the office, they will fingerprint, photograph you (only you) and then issue the I-94. Please carry $6.00 USD in cash. I think the bridge and the tunnel accept credit cards.

2. They will ask all of you the standard questions such as where you are headed to, for how long, and what purpose, etc, etc.

3. Nope.

4. Bridge toll is between $4 and $5 CAD each way. Check the website. Info should be available.

5. Check the canada customs website for accurate info. I believe, for less than 24 hour trip, the duty free exemption limit might be around $50 CAD per person. The two closest outlet malls are a) one at the junction of M-59 and I-96 around Howell, MI and b) the other in Flint area (Birch Run Outlet mall).

Both will take about 1.5 to 2 hrs drive.

I like the 12 oaks mall off I-96 in Novi.

I have I-94 till Dec 2010.I traveled once to Detroit border.
Question:

1.Can I use the same I-94(Buffalo or Sarnia) to enter any border?

2.Should I go to the border security office everytime(fingeprints etc) or can I show the PP and I-94 to the officer in the booth and enter US?

3.Can I travel once a month to US?

4.Is the I-94 valid for travel by air ?
