Friend's wife got the speeding ticket in Warsaw county for speeding 55 mph in 30 mph zone. He gave the ticket to the lawyer in US to defend. But recently he got the letter from the court that he has to pay $ 155 and then from the New York state the fine ticket for $ 300 !

It seems that the lawyer did not do any thing ! He paid $ 450 to the lawyer and now the extra $ 455 , Anyway he is worried about the insurance going up. Any one having similar experience ?

It seems that US police is looking for the Canadian cars to give the tickets for any reason.

So you think going 55mph in 30mph zone is "any reason" for getting a ticket?

No, for that speeding I agree that ticket was OK but he told me that other USA driver ahead of their car was going faster but he did not get any ticket.

I have heard from many friends that they got the ticket for driving over the line for a few seconds or for high beam light on the road at 3 am in the morning in the rain on the dark roads !

They offer a free quote and they helped me with my ticket earlier this year. A paralegal went to court for me and won! I didn't have to pay the ticket and my insurance didn't go up. Such a relief, let me tell you...
