i have thrown some light on life ins. at some other thread on this site. I hink it is on Universla life etc.
Anyway, I tell u that u need to look at term year s ( ref. manulife 33$ etc) . Is it 10 year term or thirty year term.
The diff between two is that in 10 yr term . the premium increases every ten year.. and it does increase A LLLOOOTTT.,, Yes , u may feel looted by this lot of premium increase.
In thirty year term it may be slightly more but it does not increase.

It is late at night ,, so this is it. If u need more info , contact me by mail (preferred) or post here.

find someone that can determine your needs and sell you soemthing to cover those needs. whether you pay 30$ or 100$ is not as relevant as making sure you have the best cover. basically u have term, permanent, and universal life along with disability and critical illness insurance. term is usually the best value for $$ but there are many varieties and it is a buyer beware world. Universal and permanent have their place in life too. most of all though find a really good agent or broker...someone who is well established and been in the busienss a long time. ask the agent if you can contact their customers to do a reference check on him/her. Preferably not a client that is a family member.

but overall your premiums are based on your age, sex and smoker status. Healthwise, you have to be generally stable with no major diseases. Depending onthe size of the policy you may have to undergo medicals though almost all companies will make you do a saliva test at the least. This is mainly to check to see if you have the AIDS virus present in your body, among other things.

I would like to reinforce the views expressed by zen guy by adding that life insurance has a very significant and crucial role to play in one's overall financial plan.

A properly set-up life insurance plan should meet your and your family's objectives. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to consult a reputed life insurance agent or broker and understand the issues involved. Whether to go for term or permanent life insurance would be dictated by your financial plan objectives.

If we reallyneed to see an ESTABLISHED agent then we really do not need this forum of discussion!!.
I think this page is created to give an UNBIASED info , opinion to our friends.
