Hi friends, I intend to land in Vancouer next month. Can anyone please tell me how much time it actually takes to get PR card and SIN card (as per rules time taken is 4 weeks and 3 weeks respectively).

Will it take longer to get these Cards if I come during Christmas time?

SIN Card is coming exactley on 21st day of applying don't know about PR Card.

Christmas time should not make much difference.

Thanks Garvo! Yesterday when I rang up HRDC at 1-800-206-7218 and contacted the officer providing info, he told me it is taking 5 1/2 weeks at present. Can this be correct?or was he telling me with safety margin.

Also if I am not in the hotel when the SIN card comes for delivery will it be returned as undelivered?
