I just want to know that after applying for citizenship, if someone is out of canada till test and oath and meantime his /her PR card expires.
Wht should he/her do to come in canada for Test and Oath?
Can we ask for renewed PR card from Canadian embassy outside canada?

I am not sure how that would be possible. For PR you need to stay in Canada at least 2 years out of 5 years. If you have applied for citizenship, then that means you have physically been in Canada for 3 years at least. So technically you would have at least 3 years that you can stay outside Canada legally and maintain your PR. Are you suggesting that the citizenship process would take more than 3 years?

well, yellowknife just to present my case is,
I have completed my 1095 days and have applied for citizenship now but as per present scenario they say it may take anywhere between 15-20 months for getting test.
My PR card is about to expire in 15 months time from now so i doubt if i m outside canada, how can i come for test without PR card.
I have fulfilled requirement of 3 years in 5 years time but i think for citizenship test it may take some where about 24 months in total looking to present senario.

So Interceptor, you mean to say that your PR card is expiring in the sense that the date mentioned on your PR card? In that case, I would call up the call centre and apply for a new PR card or other document . I would think that if you tell them that you have applied for citizenship but need to travel, they would come up wih some solution.
