I know it is quite late to remind you guys that everyone who landed here in Canada on or before 31st December 2004 has to file their tax returns. It is not important from the point of Revenue Canada but most of you may not be knowing that even though you have not worked or earned any/enough wages to be taxed still you are eligible for some refundable credit depending upon your martial status, children, rent paid, tution fees paid to any institution etc. If you have any question about any thing you may send me an email at and I will be more than happy to answer any of your query.

Low income families might get some deduction in Ontario Tax for the rent paid or property tax paid. Your tax software would do these calculations automatically.

Hi Pramod,

Which Tax Software would you recommend, that is effective and user friendly and from where it is easily available.

Regards
Margo

I discovered they are all the same (softwares i mean), just follow this link:

http://www.canadiandesi.com/read.php?TID=7682#42574

I tried 3 different software & finall went to a certified accountant just for the heck of it.

" SAME RESULTS "

so my suggesstion buy any cheap software like Ufile for $20 & do it yourself.

thanks

Most of the accountants also use one of the listed softwares.. but they may give some advice on getting better returns through experience.. its good to visit them atleast for the first return..

then onwards you can use the softwares.
