Hi Rahul,
My skills include a mix of web technologies, project coordination, J2EE, Smalltalk, Microsoft, Web services etc.. I had posted my resume in monster and was contacted by a recruiter. Was selected after a few rounds of telephonic interview when I was in New Jersey.
However, there were some project delays due to which there were delays in my joining. Meanwhile, my time to migrate to Canada was fast approaching and I decided to land in Toronto instead, as it was closer to NJ, and I had some relatives there.
A few weeks after landing, this one from Vancouver came through, and here I am!
Hope this answers your question. PM me if you want any further details!

Guys
We had a Canadian Desi meeting for Vancouver people last year and not many people turned up. It is nice that the CD members in BC are increasing . Since a lot of members are moving to BC and are in BC , Lets meet some day and have a CD meeting .
Any Suggestions ?

We will find a way or we will make one
Hi all of you in BC
We are moving into Vancouver from Dubai mid August and just dont know where to look for an affordable place. Any pointers about Burnaby, Surrey, Coquitlam, Vancouver East / West, Richmond? Our sons will look for admissions in grades 11 and 6 respectively. I know schools depend on the area where you live. So the perenial question, select accom first or school first. Any tips / pointers?
Not knowing any economical place to spend the first 3 nights upon landing, we are booked at the Best Wester Inns & Suites on King George HW in Surrey at CAD 105/- pernight. Any suggestions on alternatives / options?
Thanks in anticipation,
Cheers
Hi,
I am Sid currently staying in mumbai,India and planning to shift to Canada.I am a P.R.Card Holder and am confused as to where should I settle down with my parents, in mississauga or burnaby or vancouver.I am planning to do my 12th grade in one of these cities but i dont know which is the most ideal place for me.If u could help me in this respect i would really appreciate.Thank you.
Sid
I think CD $105 per night is too much. Go to this website: http://www.craigslist.org" rel="nofollow">LINK and there you will find some rooms or places for rent. I think it will be a better worth of your money to find a temporary rent rather than spending $105 per day.
