I am not forgetting the burearcracy that gets in to enforce rules so that this type of free-systems are not abused.bison
I took her to the "Jean Talon Hospital. east", Montreal Quebec.
Anyhow as of today, my wife is following the instructions of her doctor in our original country... what a shame... and the nearest booking I got so far for a Dr. specialist is in the next month... The funny thing is that u call a clinic and u get astonished that they say"sorry, we don't take new patients..it's full"...
and when i ask the secretary why is ur appointment for the next month, she replied "the bookings are full...schedule is complete.." , wow doctors treat patients like a piece of potato chips or a chewing gum...
Well it's a stupid system and old strategy approach of which there's no control.. This is clearly support the fact that doctors do make money by just claiming to the government name of regular patients.. How it comes that a doctor can't accept new patients.. well Iam a Mathematician and I can prove it easily for Iam specialised in something called "Game Theory" .. it's just a game that they don't know how to play it... Idiot doctors ... beside their idiot system... Good doctors stand for good system... This is a fact....
iam not to go to any canadian PUBLIC Hospital cause their Drs are not Qualified.. If so then their system has to be different.. There's something called the "Symmetry Theory" and "Reflection Theory" .. Let them apply True business and then they know what Iam talking about....
to be cont.
Hope I'll stay alife to keep on.....
bye
There are walk-in clinics in every city - like the name says, you can just walk- in you dont need an appointment AND they dont refuse patients. Look up your nearest walk-in clinic in your Yellow Pages.
Just like you wouldnt call 911 for a non emergency, as far as possible, dont go to an ER for non-life threatening ailment.
Finally, in contrast to others here, my personal experience with medical system here has been very good. We did have a problem getting a pediatrician when we initially landed, but once we found a good ped for our kids, we have received excellent service. We have gone to them 4 times in the past 10 months - three times on sick visits (one of which was on a Sunday) and once on routine vaccination visit; and each time we were able to get an appointment for the same or the next day. For ourselves (me and my wife) we use walk-in clinic, there is one within a few miles and we have each been there once, the wait has never been more than half an hour. We have not used the ER system (and hope we dont need to)!
Johny25 since your experiences have been so bad , maybe you should consider some other country than Canada or at least leave Quebec.
This option is always open to you. you dont have to stay in Canada if you dont like it.

While looking at this discussion, where someone is making a point about some bad experience, I dislike when our own desi people start saying, "Go back man".
More patience is requested in a discussion oriented forum like this.
