Time to Get Visa and Passport

Hi,
I have sponsored my wife and she has got passport request from Canadian High Commission, New delhi.
It has been two weeks now, can anybody tell me time it takes to Get Visa after sending in passport??

Hi, the process takes up to 3 months after passport requests, its been 2 months for my spouse. Hope that helps.

Hi rahul

just send an email to delhi immigrations and u will get reply in 48 hrs regarding ur file information.

write your wifes file no. and passport no with Dob.

Congrats Sandip. Mine is still in "In Process" status. New Delhi has started processing the application on Feb 28.

Hello Mine one is also similar case, my wife case also

started processing on 28th Feb 2006
passport request 18th March 2006
passport submitted 20th March 2006

still now my wife is waiting for her passport, pls any body help me in this regard when she will get her passport back

gary999 ur case is similar to me will u pls let me know what happens in ur case so that we both can calculate the time period approximate.

Shall wait 4 ur reply

My wife got the passport request on Mar 22 and we are still waiting. But the CIC online status shows as "in Process".

Had ur wife send the passport, If yes they recd. it or not and what should be the next step to know when she will recd. back her passport.
