I am sceptical using my Visa card on the website http://pyasa.ca/ for Indian DVD's. Has anyone used this website to rent DVD's ?

Wow this site looks to be a good one, I would want a feedback from anyone who may have used it.

Samosa_syndrome, I would caution you against doing that unless you check with someone as to how it is to use the credit card.

Yeah it looks good because for me the nearest rental shop for Hindi movies is 500 kms away. But at the same time i don't want to use my card on a unknown website. i called up the guys to accept cheque but they dont have the facility. i talke dto a desi guy with typical Indian Hinglish accent.

Heck I'd sign up with http://pyasa.ca for two months to get a free DVD player! Probably only plays their movies though!

Maybe I should try and see what happens! Credit cards are easier to dispute then direct debit or cheques. I have an idea, sign up .. get the DVDplayer and then dispute! Naughty Naughty! ;)

:( 00pppss....I just re-read the offer from http://pyasa.ca" target="_blank">http://pyasa.ca. It is 2 months or DVD player free with annual membership. Not DVD player free with 2 months membership!

Hello folks,

I have been getting a few hits from this discussion thread and so I thought I'd check it out.

I appreciate all the input so far, and Big Vee - I have a DVD player with your name on it! :y

I understand your concern, Samosa, regarding the use of your credit card with Pyasa. If it is any assurance, negative publicity, the threat of fraud charges and disconnection from our Credit Card processor are a bigger concern for us at Pyasa.

The principals at Pyasa have been in business for over 8 years now and came togeather to service Desi's just like you. With fellow desis spreading in wider and wider circles around the metropolitan areas, we saw a small market that was not being serviced. We have clients in communities so remote that Mapquest does not have them listed!

I hope you try Pyasa.Ca.

Regards
Kaushik@pyasa

Kaushik sahab,
The very first page on the website says: Maaza Unlimited.
Is it Maaza Unlimited :) or 'Mazaa Unlimited'?
