Hey Guys

To my surprised, problem is resolved itself!

Yes, I just change brand of DVD from Memorex to Maxwell
Now I can burn DVD as well

I hope its not temporory solutions

I have exactly the same problem, and like I said I'm not even attempting to investigate, 'cause I know I changed the brand of DVD. I changed from Memorex to Phillips.

I'm glad things worked out for you, now you can concentrate on burning movies

Nice to know that the problem got resolved . Please confirm something - your DVD recorder is +R compatible . Were the format of the DVDs earlier used +R or -R ?

Yes Fido

My CD/DVD drive is Sony DVD + - RW
And I was using DVD +R with Memorex & I used DVD +R with Maxell
Does it make any difference?

Also Sudeshsingh,
May be I could have tried this method before doing anything
I tried everything like uninstall & reinstall of software as well as drive

I never got a clue that DVd brand can make so much differenece as I used
to burn DVD regularly by using Memorex +R DVD

Anyway, its a nice experience!
