hi cmanyam and shreeni ..how r u guyz doin...busy preparing for the big day is it... i got my PCC from UAE at the time i applied and got PCC from india recently...shud i get another PCC before i go the Intw.

I am confused with your ?

I hope with the PR application you alredy submitter PCC from uae as well as India. then why again you need PCC.

by the way where are you working in UAE.

hi caidur..how did the intw go..what did they ask in the intw and what about the police clearance cert..did u take a recent one from uae...what about the finance part ..what are they lokking for regd financial strength..plz reply as we ahve the intw on 18th oct and cmanyam has it on 10th oct..looking forward 2 ur reply..

Be prepared for the interview.
I don't mean to scare anyone but, its not so easy as it seems, for us the interview was in London in May 2001, we went confident as everyone told us interview call is just a formality u will get the immigration approval anyway. Well that was not the case, the lady who took the interview seemed very polite asked us all the appropriate questions regarding education, job, finances etc. And after the interview she said the results will be posted to us. We got our post after two months with a NO ( we missed it by two points), it was really shocking because until now I don’t know where we went wrong.

We applied again in Dec 2003 and this time we got the approval in May 2005. With luck no interview call this time, we got the medical papers straight away.

So best of luck, be prepared, be alert and be knowledgeable about the destination you have chosen.

Hi cmanyam,

Yes, thats how I also landed on CD. Got my visa stamped in the passport in July 2005 and suppose to complete the landing formalities before march 2006. We intend moving to Canada in December 2005 on trial basis without giving up our jobs here in the ME.

Hi Ice Cream,

Your failed to make it in 2001 and you succeded in 2005. You attribute it to your luck.

Don't you think it is something to do with the reduced pass marks from 75 to 67 sometime during end of 2003?
