Hello Guys,

I am based at Abu Dhabi. Applied for immigration in Jan 2004, asked to appear for interview on the 18th of September with 6 months finance statement and correcponding documents. Hope to comlete the immigration formalities soon and land in Canada by Jan 2006.
Anyway i would be glad to hear comments regarding the questions asked during the interview and what is the duration of the interview. Pls reply in detail .

It is nice to hear from another Abu dhabi based CD meber.

I am also working in abu dhabi applied for Canadian PR in oct-2003

For me also intw scheduled in abudhabi on oct10th 2005.

As per other members previous experiences, about interview not to worry much.

We need to be answer very confident and relaxed when they ask any questions related to your Job, education, background etc. please share your exp in this process .

yes it took at least 6 months time for interview date by abudhabi embassy...

what about your status as on today...

Hi Everybody..

I am from Sharjah and applied for PR in Feb-04.
We have got AOR in May-2004 and waiting for responce from CIC.
Meanwhile we submitted IELTS results, proof of funds, PCC from INdia etc.
Do any of you guys have idea about which year cases CIC is handling now?

Cmanyam..it seems it took a lot of time for you to get interview date?
Why was the delay?

When we started processing the consultant said it will take 18 months at the most...but it seems it takes 2 years at least..

Anyway all the best for you for interview..

I will be finishing 10 months from date of AOR and looking at trend I am not expecting any communication before Jan 2006.
