Hi!

Landed last week with family without any hitches and are getting into the initial stages of the Canadian way of life.

The bright sunshine (and the occasional showers) have helped our spirits and so too the warmth and affection of friends! Slowly and steadily we hope to find our niche out here.....knowing fully well that the going is gonna be tough, eh!

And definitely Canadian Desi too has played a special role in our move to Canada. A big thanks to GG for this wonderfully interactive site.

First as Greycells (found it depressing when members addressed me as 'grey', and therefore the change in i.d.) and now as Worship, I have found CD to be one of the greatest source of information and guidance for my queries.

When in doubt, CD search has practically given me all the relevent answers but above all else my grateful thanks to my CD friends who with their firm convictions and positive outlook always helped me to look at the brighter side of the picture when negative posts created defidence. I am forever indebted to them.

Hats off to Mr. Massood too. Thanks a lot Sir, for your selfless service and prompt guidance.

At the moment we are too new to this part of the world and still searching for a foothold but in future if we could be of any help to CD members you will not find us falling short in our duty.

My sincere desire that CD thus continues to always be a beacon of hope and a guiding light to all who wish to make Canada their new home.

At the moment am in Toronto's North York area. Looking around and finding every place having it's own charm....Will make up my mind after taking into consideration all the practical aspects.
