Attn: Canadian Desis in Vancouver

I am a new immigrant from India (earlier I used to work in the US) and currently living in Toronto. I want to relocate from there and was thinking if anyone could accept me as a paying guest in their home in Vancouver till such time I get a job.

My plans are to complete a Canadian Securities Course after which I will relocate. My funds are slipping away slowly which is why this post comes to light.

I am a very educated guy, from a very good family but no one in Canada on which I could rely.

All I need is for you to let me stay with you for only the time till I get a job and then I will move out. I have everything in me but I do not have anyone to call 'apna' here.

I know and understand this could be hard for anyone, but I am looking for a family which may be open to this. I am willing to pay for minimal costs that which you would have to incur in order to keep me. I am willing to help around the house and be like a family. By the way, I can cook as well!
