Hi All,
Do I need a CV besides Resume and a Cover letter? Is it required by Employers?
(when applying in Canada)
Hello there,
You seem to be "NEW" in the workforce. Am i right about it???.
Resume and C.V are essentially the same.
C.V : summary of qualifications and experience: a summary of a person’s educational qualifications, skills, publications, and professional activities, prepared when applying for an academic position.
Resume: U.S. Canada Australia, New Zealand work history: a summary of somebody’s educational and work experience, for the information of possible future employers.
A résumé is typically used by people in all professions except academia and medicine.
Thank you caidur.
Actually, I have found this link (http://www.cvtips.com) from one of the post and just wondering that Canada might required CV.
CV is not necessarily required if you are landing in toronto, put your qualifications aside, you would require a SIN card and steel tip safety shoes if you do not bring money for your living for atleast 6-7 months....but yeah, in anycase CV is known as resume in this part of the world....
