Hi,

I got passport request from NewYork office.

I came to US to sent my passports by mail and enclosed prepaid envolope.


I am waiting since last 15 days and today I recheked my stuff and found that I made a mistake by not sending the passport request letter with passports.

I have sent my passports along with all other letters(Authorization letter for immigration stamp on passports, and height,weight and eye color document, etc), but unfortunately missed the first letter which states that you must send this letter along with all other documents.




Well you can understand my situation now.. What should I do now?

you just need to wait, you might get your passport back with visa stamped or they might ask you to resend it with the letter, even if you e-mail new york office, they will give a standard reply saying that they cannot disclose individual applications

CIC website is showing a Desesion is made. I am worried about this. As the 60 days is over, will they reject my case?

If they reject, What should i do now?

Appreciate your response. This has given me a bit of relief.


I faxed the letter that I missed and also I personally came to New York on This Monday to hand over the letter that I missed. But they aksed me to come on Thursday. That time my status is in Progress.

I am hanging in New York and now on Wednes day night, suddenly the status changed to Decision made. I am so worried.

Today I am going to consulate to check out my status.
