Hi KPV,
I think it is advisable to send a letter to CHC mentioning the error they made of interchanging the surname and First name.

Was you application form filled in initially with interchanged first name and Surname? or they made the mistake of interchanging the names?

In any case you need to correct these details before you get your visa stamped
Though it gets delayed a little now but you will be at peace after you land in Canada and not running around here in new place and country for corrections.

Also you need to send a copy of your renewed passport so that they update their records.

Dear Raj,
Based on your advice I had sent a letter to CHC about the name and surname reversal in the records. Today I see on the Ecas my name and surname has been corrected/reversed. Thanks for your input.
