nah.. this guy is totally okay..
Seen it before.. been there done that..
Tons of ppl like us panick coz US has become really strange land for people on H1Bs.. they can almost taste the money, freedom and amazing work opportunities that come with GC.. but still it remains elusively out of reach till you actually get it.. almost zen like experience so filled with wry irony and cruel reality at the same time that .. to master that you need to be one of those tibetan monks.. for all us mere mortals that means emotions and plans swinging in a pendulum from very optimistic dreams and scared anxiety at the same time.. then people make these plans to take up residence in the Canada.. for all these .. Canada is not real plan.. rather it's that place in the wonderland that gives them certitude.. and allows them to think that they have some degree or plan and control over their destinity.. and make waiting in US little bit easier.. that's all it is in this case.. nothing more..

In my humble opinion, XXX ji if you've been waiting so many YEARS for greencard, do you really think it's coming anytime soon? Especially since the 9/11 incident, the US Immigration has not only gotten tighter, but also ruthless...
Not to discourage you, but perhaps you should think if you are willing to waste more years in plain uncertainty and anxiety for a greencard, when the job market is USA is extremely bleak. And that too, if you don't know that you will even get it.
