Hi chennaiguy
before TK opens up, please divulge a bit of your reasons to eye back to India ! , share your story with the forum.
Thanks and Peace !
Had been searching for this thread for weeks (the search option is not working).
The guy what the OP has been all about has resigned and his last day is the end of this month.
When I asked him face to face as to how he can ditch a project midway, he bluntly told me that he is resigning as per the terms of his contract and that he does not care.
He has given some BS personal reasons for resigning but I suspect that his Green Card may have become current.
What do CD's think ?
Peace

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Why I returned to India :
1. Had always wanted to be with parents (India or Canada).
2. Too much racism and poor job oppertunities/ low salary for people not in IT field.
Just for the record, I resigned first to go back to India and the very next day I got a job in Saudi. Even after 3 months, the visa process was still going on and in the meantime I got a job offer from India and took it.
Peace

Nope the green card has retrograded back to 2007 after being current for India & China for EB 2.
May be he got a higher paying job.
With Obama taking the high road to the election he is going to hammer India hard on for his reelection.
He will be spending nearly 8 million to bash India for job outsourcing.
You already know about Infosys troubles on visa front and how it is going be made a poster child for visa fraud.
Btw the time here is 11.35 PM. It should be 9 AM in India now.
Good morning and happy Monday and work week.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.
don't know why you are so pissed on him.
- One can be outside US and still have the green card process going on.
- The EAD is not something tied up the the employer or employment. EAD is like temp Greencard, it allows you to work for any company or do not work at all, its up to you and completely legal.
- you can add your spouse case with your GC case anytime before approval of your case.
- there is no mandatory time to spent for GC in USA. The employment based GC is not for the current work, its for future employment.
- EAD can be renewed while one in USA or outside USA. EAD give you permission to work, its not necessary that one has to work...
- If he gets his Greencard then he have to work for the sponsor company and can't be outside USA for more than 6 months in a year.

Regards,
Thanks VM for the wishes. I had a very good work day and now at home resting while Candadians in Canada are working.
To Shy boy !
This is a sort of work ethics. We are now left with no one to complete the prestegious hotel project. For the aspiration of one, many have to suffer. Some one has to do his work, till we find a replacement.
Peace
