Confused about my next step

hi guys,
thanks for all u'r replies .
i had to only pay Rs 500/- to CHC thru a draft . They will be asking for the verifications .
My agent told me not to go to the Uni myself to find out whats happening abt the Verification . She said that the CHC Dose not want contact with us on this .

so i suppose i will have to chill and wait for Mumbai uni to get it's act right in my case .

Hi CD's

I have been away from this forum for sometime and this topic caught my attention.

My immigration interview was on the 18 September and after that in a months time i got a correspondence from the CIC to pay the ROLF and to forward the Medical papers.....which i did by the 20 th October. Now i was waiting for the Visa... which obviously had to be the last step!. On the 18th of November i checked my Post Box and found a letter from CIC dated 8th November asking me to provide my degree verification by 15 days....else they would finalise my file. I had less than 5 days to prepare the necessary verification work and i was in a shock. All these months of waiting goes to waste!. Without loosing time i faxed them a reply as well as an email asking for more time. In the meantime i called everyone in my university right from the Dean, The Registrar to the secretary and told them the situation. A Dim light was in sight !!!

The next day my parents (who were in Abu Dhabi at that time for a vacation ) returned back and straight away went to the uvt the next day. By 21st i had a letter from the Registrar verifying my degree. Sent copies of the letter to CIC london by courier as well as faxed the same. That was a close shave!. This cost me Rs 10,000/- on the whole .!

Now it's 19 the December and after 1 whole month i get a reply from the CIC that they would give me 90 days more !!!!. Call that efficiency !

Deep down i dont care a damn if i suceed in immigrating to canada or not. Cos i feel Canada isnt any better than India.... anyway! just a new name and snow!

And yes... i am as confused as any of you are!..

But i am going to wait till Feb 2006 before i call it quits.

you will be through this process soon.......

still i am waiting for CIC responce after university sent the verification report last month 10th ........

Hello,

Further to my Post ......Do u CD's think that i should send the original Verification letter from the UVT to CIC, London?.

At the moment i have faxed the Verification letter from the UVT to CIC fax in London. Additionally a set of photocopies of the followong...Verification letter, Transfer Cert have been couriered. I am contemplating on sending the original Verfication letter to CIC.

What do u guys think i should do???
