Young teenagers racing cars in the streets of Toronto is becoming more frequent in the last couple of years. I have never observed this in the US. Every year many get either killed or hospitalized due to car crashes involving teenager racing on GTA Streets

And now the quetion is - how do you avoid such things which are slowly growing? The need for letting out more and more power which teens today show on computer games and cars - but not in playing outdoor games.

Do you think stricter laws would be an answer? If yes, how strict? A prolonged prison sentence? An eye for an eye? Or even a fine on immediate family who 'provide'them ammunitions and causes to indulge in such deeds?

How about a Ban on games such as "Need for Speed"??

Apparently that was found in the car of a recent speed racer who had an accident while racing.

That would be stupid......I'd be pissed if they do that............I love that game and play it all the time. And besides that is not the solution.

The logic you are going with, they should ban cars or even better not let anybody leave the house that way nobody can get hurt on the road.

Let me ask you were you ok with ontario governments decision to ban pitbulls???

You may be able to differentiate between a game and reality..but apparently a lot of youth today arent. Why are there more guns in schools and shootings now? Is it just a coincidence? I realize there are other factors .. but this is a contributing factor - more violence in games and television.

I dont think cars should be banned..but I would say stricter laws for first time offenders that speed, break laws, and especially dwi's.

I was just throwing an idea out - please dont attack me.
Thanks,
