I dont think they are different in that people in both professions (here doctor and teacher) require more than a degree to be good doctors/teachers. A doctor also has to have qualities not taught in school.
How do you know that the teacher or doctor or business professional really cares about their work and not just their salary and benefits? You will know that through experience with that person right?

that's why so many still trying to find one family doctor/walk in doctor who does care about his patient. So I wonder who allowed them to practice medicine if what u wrote above is true that out here u require more than ur degree.
Well, My observation was just that after 'proving' you are capable of doing the job 'well'...that is as good as any qualified person....does it matter 'afterwards' if you dont have the required 'degree' or 'certificate'? At the screening process it is required, but after the ability is proven..I would not care..
My 2 cents...

Here is my Free and good for nothing opinion:
The issue here seems to be that the teachers got their jobs with false information and falsification of crendentials to be qualified for the job. Now it is a different issue that they are able to handle the job well, irresspective of how they got into it.
"These are teachers who are supposed to be extremely high on ethics and moral values. which unfortunately in this case is clear that they DO NOT have."
If you consider other professions / jobs, say for example IT, many people cook-up the resumes and yet handle the jobs / duties extremely well, and it is ok since the job does not demand (rather does not care) ethical and moral values, since the businesses go with the bottom line principle of getting things done in a cheap and best way possible with efficiency and productivity as the principle.
BUT This is NOT SO and should not be when "EDUCATION" is the profession.
Remember this "Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu ........ " so a Teacher is said to be the bigger than GOD when it comes to Education.
Well some can surely say it is a "double standard", but that's the way it is;
