Does anyone know what is the maximum term of a mutiple entry visa issued by the Canadian Consulate and what is the maximum term of stay.
AFAIK it is 5 yrs and 6 months but I am looking for confirmation.
Thx

Hi Appy,
Link I have given you above gives all the details, and they are authentic. No one else can give you authentic details.
If you have any specific question, please let me know.
By CDs guidance, my parents got 1 year multiple visa, my question is what does it mean by 1 year multiple entry, i know they can enter canada for n times within 1 year. But is it good to have US visa so that after 6 months resident they can cross to US border and reenter to stay for another six months.
Please advise me so my parents can get return ticket to India after one year
Thanks
I have recently sent my sponsorship application for my parents and sister (21 year of age) under family class immigrant. I have recieved an acknowledgement letter from case processing center. As we all know the process is long so in the meantime i would like to apply for a multi TRV for my parents and sister. My father is retired, my mother is a house wife and sister is a full time student. as i will be supporting their visit . Can anyone please clarify how much balance do i need in my bank statements for succefull application and what are the chances of my sister getting a visa as she is young .
Thanx.
I think 8-10 lakh cash will be sufficient, more will be better.best luck........
