HOW ABOUT CALLING MY MOTHER ( WIDOW) WHAT TIME IT TAKES.... ??? IF WE APPLY NOW ON IMMIGRATION???

Well on ur parents visa there must be a visa issue date and expiry date.
The date ur parents will arrive here in Canada, they will be allowed to stay for one year fron the date of landing irrespective of expiry date.

Now usually what ppl do is that when their stay period is about to end then they just move to the closest country, stay there for a week or so n come back again so that their visa holds good for another one year.

So its good for them to have US visa too if they wanna extend their stay.

hello,
I am applying for my parent's visitor visa, the reason to their visit is my wife's baby shower and to spend some time with us.

We have shown 70 k $ total balance and permanent job, what are the chance to get visa?

we have not shown any house or land properties, as i was thinking only cash balance and permanent job would be enough.

any inputs?

Hello All

I have taken so many tips from this thread and many of you have been so helpful so thought of sharing this good news which might be helpful for others too.My parents applied for visitor visa and i sent in supporting documents for them.Their visas got stamped in a weeks time they got 5 years multiple entry

Most imp thing my parents have good travel history
my dad owns a very small travel agency back in india(we have zero assests!) but he shows good turn over.Me and my husband have normal jobs our income together 55k and bank bal of only 10k,tax returns,emp letters,our pr cards,house lease,rogers bills

I was so scared when ppl used to say they showed 30k or 50k bal with
a job of 100k per annum.So all you who fall under my category dont you worry
getting the visa is a gamble and strong documentation is necessary.Thanq you all!
