As per Indian or European date format, It will happen on 4th of May. As per the Yankeedoodle style, it will be 5th of April.
We Canadians write both the style (people normal use MM/DD/YY, government uses DD/MM/YY). So we will see it happen twice

Though the combination of 123456 is interesting, it is not once in a life time as stated by the reporter / report. It happens almost once every year. We can have 234567(next year), 345678 (in 2008), and so on...each one is unique in its own sequence...
There many more unique and interesting combinations of dates and times which keep repeating at regular intervals ...111111, 222222 etc...
Not so unique after all...
