I have seen several ads for short online or in-class courses for training as CRAs . Does anybody have any idea how good these are and what are the job prospects in case one pursues these. In particular, any experience with Kriger Research Centre.
These centres advertise these positions as being extremely in demand, would like to know what people who are actually in the field think? Is this sector really as strong as they claim or is it just another gimmick to lure job aspirants into paying for their training programs.

I would appreciate any inputs regarding the same.

I have a very good friend who had over 2 decades of pharmaceutical marketing experience in India. Unable to land a break, he joined the Kriger Research Centre and did the CRA program. According to him, although the training is professional, you are basically on your own and there are no placement opportunities. It's the chicken and egg situation (No Canadian experience, No Job), as everyone is aware when it comes to such training programs. This friend eventually did find some work in related industry (chemicals), but the CRA course was practically useless
