But DELL has no store. So shipping will cost.

i wanna to go for MDG.ca. Is it a good company for service and other things.

Is Toshiba also good ?

mdg is not comparable to DELL or Toshiba but will be good is your budget is low.
Toshiba is one of the best in the market but within $1300 you might not get the latest models.
DELL is quite dependable ... I am using for last 4 years without any problem..their shipping cost is not that much plus if you use those coupons your shipping cost anyway will be free.

Are you suggesting linkysys wrt54G is worth 324.99. I think you got duped if they told you that. I dont think its worth that much, But then; is tht what you mean.

Most computers come with a 1 yr standard warranty.....effectively you paid $324.99 for a 2 yr warranty....after 1 yr your computer will be worth $600 and change.....the future value of $324.99 in 2 yrs at 10% is $400 and change so roughly you paid $400 to insure a $600 computer.....You see stores dont make any money on selling items they make money on the warranty but hey if it makes you sleep better at night thats great!!! Good luck with your purchase. Hope you never have to use the warranty although a part of me hopes that you do just to teach the money grabbing stores a lesson.......

The additional warranty also covers other things that the standard warranty does not cover. For example you laptop is non-functional because you spilled a coffee on it - it does cover it.

When I bought my first cam-corder I went for extended warrantly. It is now 6 years and that one is still working fine. Now a days the similar cam-corders are available at a cheaper price than the warrantly amount! 2 Years ago I bought a digital camera and that time I didn't went for warranty and that one works fine too. However now a days the similar models available at a damn cheap prices.

So it all depends.

BTW, what is your laptop brand?
