Hi,
I am an international student here and want to go to India for a visit for 2 weeks. I was planning to leave coming week (on 21/july) and:
my study permit expires - nov 30
my visa expires - aug 30
I want to com back on - aug 10
Would that be ok? Would they object at the immigration counter that if my visa's expiring why do I need to enter the country? Can there be any issues?
Please-please let me know at the earliest - this is really urgent...
Thanks
Hello
You can leave the country but you can not enter canada with an expired visa. Though your student permit expires on Nov 30th, it is not a travel document so you can not enter canada back with your student permit.
Call imigartion canada for further clarification

Hi Kunesh
There is discrepancy baout expiry of your visa and your return date. Any way if you ar comin before your visa expired, i think you should be fine. Sincethe dates are very close it is always good to call canadian immigration to make absolutely sure of things. U can call 1-888-242-2100 between 8 to 4 (EST) 7 days a week.
Hope it answars some of your questions.

Hello Kunseh,
You will be fine if you enter before expiry date of visa .
Technically even one day earlier is fine. So relax and have fun. Bon Voyage.
However it is not advisable to cut it too fine, as sometimes flight delays can occur and cause hiccups.
